VeteranCrowd Spotlight – MG Cedric Wins – College basketball to the military

College basketball to the military

In his senior year in high school, Cedric Wins turned down a scholarship to the US Naval Academy to play basketball. He could not see the transition from College basketball to the military.

So retiring after 34 years in the Army, MG Wins thinks that youthful decision makes for “an interesting backstory.”

“Three years was my military commitment. The other 31 was all gravy.”
