Ben Biles – American Veterans Group, Helping Veterans While Doing Business
Ben Biles is a Naval Academy graduate and Navy veteran. He shares how his upbringing and service in the Navy paved the path for entrepreneurship. He founded the American Veterans Group, Wall Streets only Public Benefit Company. “We’ve incorporated as a public benefit corporation. It’s been a great way for us to align ourselves with our mission, which is to provide great business service to our clients and increase shareholder value, but also help as many veterans as we can.”

At 6’9” Ben played basketball at the Naval Academy. Juggling being a student athlete and the demands of the academy taught him how to better manage his time. It set him up for success not only as a supply corps officer but later an entrepreneur. “There are a lot of parallels that I could talk forever about how the military experience has been helpful in this entrepreneurial endeavor.”
