Mark Mhley – Navy Veteran, Founder and CEO of Re4ormed

Mark MhleyMark knew in the eighth grade he wanted to be an astronaut. Knowing at the time the Naval Academy produced the most astronauts that’s where he headed. He didn’t end up on the moon, but he did land himself as a Flight Officer in the Navy. He loved his 22 years in uniform and still misses it today. Privileged to serve with great leaders during challenging times shaped him as a leader and eventual entrepreneur. It was after his Naval career that he launched into entrepreneurship. He struggled and ended up seeing some ways he could help others on the same path. R4formed was born.

Re4ormed

Founded in 2017 out of realizing two specific things were missing on his own entrepreneurial journey. First, a national community of other veterans and spouse entrepreneurs that could support each other. Second, a go-to family of vetted business services that were provided by other veterans and spouses. Re4ormed is “a veteran-owned small-business in Maryland that serves the ecosystem of veteran and military-spouse owned businesses by partnering with businesses eager to deliver value back into that ecosystem.”
