Tim Doelger- Navy Veteran, Founder and CEO of TruFishing
Tim Doelger is a Navy Veteran, serving for over 7 years as a submariner. He would tell you he’s no stranger to entrepreneurship. At a young age he had paper route and was always looking for creative ideas to earn extra money. His love for technology and fishing coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit eventually led to the founding of TruFishing Inc. The journey has had its ups and downs, but Tim would tell you it’s the humility of knowing that your first idea isn’t always the right one that has kept him falling forward and ultimately finding success in TruFishing.

TruFishing was founded in 2017 after sitting down with some fishing industry leaders and asking how they could get more people to participate? Together with his wife, Sharon, they have a mission “to provide the world with a platform where people can share their fishing experiences through contests from organizations that they trust and support.” This increases participation in the fishing arena and helps people create memories that will be with them for a lifetime.
